Trophy Club Texas History:
Trophy Club is a master planned community located on the northwest shores of Lake Grapevine. It incorporated in 1985. Trophy Club is located on SH 114 (Northwest Parkway), 32.8 miles northwest of Dallas, 9.3 miles northwest of Grapevine, 25.6 miles northwest of Arlington and Lake Arlington, 26.5 miles northeast of Fort Worth, 34 miles northeast of Azle and Eagle Mountain Lake, 7.6 miles northeast of Keller, 40 miles southeast of Bridgeport and Lake Bridgeport, 34 miles southeast of Decatur and the LBJ National Grasslands, 31.8 miles south of Sanger and Lake Ray Roberts, 19 miles southwest of Denton, 19 miles southwest of Lewisville and Lake Lewisville, and 12 miles southwest of Flower Mound, Texas.
 
Trophy Club Parks & Recreation Department Events:
The parks department manages the town’s events and cultural programing. Annual events include Arbor Day Celebration, Pitch, Hit & Run, Pet Fest, a Summer Adventure Camp, the July Fourth Celebration, Trek & Toss II, Fall Community Clean Up, Top Halloween Home, Spring and Fall Family Camp Outs, and the Christmas Parade, Lighting and Judging.The department also hosts a Summer Day Camp. Semi-Annual Family Fall Campout, Nov & April:
Check in is from 3pm-5pm. A $5 per person fee is charged. This family campout is held at Trophy Club Park at 2885 Trophy Park Drive, 76262. (682) 831-4603.    
 
Annual Arbor Day, Last Saturday in April:
This event features a safety fair, game warden and park ranger talks, educational presentations, a tree giveaway, a live music concert, children’s entertainment, vendors, and the PHI Air Medical Helicopter. Annual Cross Timbers Classic CycleFest, Fort Worth, TX, May:
This ride includes 10, 30, 50, 100K and 100 mile routes, and the Family Classic Ride.

Annual Summer Friday Night Fireworks on Lake Grapevine:
An 11 minute fireworks display at Grapevine Lake is held every Friday night at 9:30pm from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Festivities include patriotic music during the show, and top country and rock hits before the show. Fireworks may be seen from Oak Grove Park, Lakeview Park, Rockledge Park, and Silver Lake Park.
 
Annual July 4th Fireworks Extravaganza on Lake Grapevine:
This event takes place at Lake Grapevine. The fireworks may be viewed from almost any lake location including Oak Grove park and Rockledge park. Admission is free at most viewing stations, though some lake parks may charge a minimal admission fee. 
 
Annual Trophy Club 4th of July Celebration, July:
Activities include a 5K run and a fun run, a free breakfast, open swimming at the pool and splash pads (100 Municipal Drive), and a parade. Evening children’s entertainment, vendors and fireworks at held at Independence Park at 501 Parkview Drive.The parade begins at Byron Nelson High School (2775 Bobcat Boulevard), turns left on Bobcat, right on Trophy Club Drive, right on Durango, right on Parkview and ends at Byron Nelson High School. Bring lawn chairs and blankets.  
 
Annual Trophy Club Pet Fest, 3rd Saturday in Sept:
This free event features lots of pets, free Pet Fest t-shirts and corn dogs while supplies last, vendors selling pet merchandise, educational information, food vendors, and low cost vaccinations, microchipping and heartworm testing. This event is held from 10am-1pm at Freedom Dog Park located in Trophy Club Park at 2885 Trophy Park Drive. (682) 831-4603.
 
Annual Trophy Club Halloween Decorating Contest, Oct:
Decorate your home for Halloween and be automatically entered in the contest. The family with the winning house receives a free family pass to the community pool. (682) 831-4603.  
 
Annual Flower Mound Pumpkin Patch, October:
This very large pumpkin patch offers hundreds of pumpkins, a mini train, bounce houses, a hayride, hay stacks and mazes, photo op cut outs, and face painting. Bring lunch or snacks. Food is sold on weekends. Due to the popularity of this patch, consider going during the week. No admission fees. This patch is open 9am-dusk during the month of October. Activities include the home Christmas decorating contest, a lighted parade, a 5K run, Christmas carols, photos with Santa, the lighting of the clock tower, Christmas stories, and food. Annual Twinkle Lighted Boat Parade, Dec:
The parade begins at Twin Coves Marina in Flower Mound and picks up entries at each marina as it circles the lake, and ends at Little Pete’s at Twin Coves Marina.
